Poem: Blindspot…

Blindspot by MW Hardwick

I entered this relationship with an open mind and heart..

Then you proceed to try and change everything about me…

I pulled back ” smoother mother”

You keep coming…and coming …and coming.

It flooded me… .To little air can’t catch my breath,

Resistance, pulling away and defensiveness reigned.

My feedback asking for room to be.

Met with anger, heat and more pressure…

I thought together we were special

Now I know that blindspots are poison for relationships

But who is blind me or you?

Me or You….

The question remains–Can anyone change without acceptance ?

So I ran…I ran…I ran….
